Upland hunting in Maine is hunting for ruffed grouse and american woodcock.

Please remember that we hunt for wild birds. Weather, migrations of woodcock and other factors can change number of birds seen each day.

What We Offer

We offer both full and half day hunts to suit you. All hunts include hunting over our expertly trained German Shorthair Pointer, Copper. You are more than welcome to bring your sporting dogs if you’d like. Various food/refreshments are complimentary and available based on the day.

I don’t hunt one particular area of Maine. I’ve spent countless hours scouting and hunting here so we are free to visit different areas of the state if one area is more convenient to you, or to avoid inclement weather.

  • For those who want to make a day of it. A full day hunt gives us more time to explore different covers, and experience more of the Maine woods without watching the clock.

    Your day includes meals, snacks, espresso, matcha and other refreshments, so you can simply show up and enjoy the hunt. We’ll take breaks when needed, share a good meal, and spend the day the way bird hunting ought to be enjoyed.

    For an experience that’s a little different, borrow one of our century old sxs shotguns for the day, complimentary, and experience a small piece of upland hunting’s past.

    Guided days include hunting behind Copper, our expertly trained pointing dog, and any birds cleaned and packaged

    $400 solo hunter, $650 for two hunters

  • Perfect for hunters looking for either morning or afternoon in the grouse woods. We’ll hunt productive cover, adapting the day to the birds, weather, and conditions.

    Half-day hunts include fresh espresso and matcha, and field snacks along the way. Choose an early morning hunt or an afternoon hunt and enjoy a relaxed, personal introduction to Maine upland hunting.

    For an experience that’s a little different, borrow one of our century old sxs shotguns for the day, complimentary, and experience a small piece of upland hunting’s past.
